      Description

      Neroli, Musk, Orange Blossom:
This fragrance is a modern and very British remake of the classic French Colognes and Eaux Fraiches, through the addition of a floral heart of Orange Blossom and a long-lasting base note of Musk added to this accord.

The classic Citrus accord is an energetic and mood-boosting fragrance, purposely designed to add a splash of vitality and freshness . It always features a bitter-sweet combination of essential citrus oils such as lemon, orange, bergamot, lime, grapefuit, mandarin and other citrussy notes. However, the main drawback with a classic cologne is its absence of a heart & base note which dramatically reduces its longevity.

The creation of this fragrance was conceived during one of our many visits to the unparalleled and stunning Chelsea Physic Gardens, Kew Gardens and the Orangeries of Hampton Court Palace, all of which call London home. It is an absolute pleasure to stroll along surrounded by the intoxicating aromas of Orange Blossom that weaves its way into every corner of the magnificent greenhouses and orangeries when they are in full bloom.

During our initial visit to the Chelsea Physic Garden we discovered that it is the oldest botanic garden in London and the very first one in England to have a heated greenhouse in 1681. The concept of greenhouses for mandarin orange trees during the winter season appeared first in Korea in the 15th century and then came to England in the 17th century.

The golden era of the greenhouses in England came during the Victorian era. The wealthy upper class and aspiring botanists competed with each other for the most elaborate buildings. Great examples are the greenhouses of Kew Gardens and The Crystal Palace in London. Today, it is the desire to bring the ‘outdoors indoors’ that has made conservatories and orangeries a very popular extension to homes in the U.K.

      Fragrance Description:
This clean fresh floral fragrance opens with top notes of Neroli, that are citrussy, light and ever so slightly bitter. What follows, is a beautifully alluring white floral heart of Orange Blossom with facettes of Honeydew Blossom and Madagascan Jasmine.

The sensual base of radiant Musks and Cedarwood add both depth and warmth to this fragrance.
